Career Art Path (CAP)
Middle school students from throughout the region spend two weeks in June experimenting with a variety of arts media, enjoying field trips, learning from guest artists and participating in intensive workshops – all to demonstrate the many arts-related career opportunities. The program concludes with a public exhibition of the students’ work.
Incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students are eligible to participate. Cost is $100 per student, and there are scholarships offered for this program. The Arts Council’s Annual Color Las Cruces benefits the CAP program.
For more information and instructions on participation in this program, read our 2011 CAP Information & Instructions sheet.
