Career Art Path (CAP)

dsc01388-2Middle school students from throughout the region spend two weeks in June experimenting with a variety of arts media, enjoying field trips, learning from guest artists and participating in intensive workshops – all to demonstrate the many arts-related career opportunities.  The program concludes with a public exhibition of the students’ work, and display of selected student pieces to be exhibited in participating ArtsHop galleries during that event.

Graduating 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are eligible to participate.  Cost is $75 per student, and there are scholarships offered for this program.  DAAC’s Annual ArtsHop benefits the CAP program.

For more information and instructions on participation in this program, read our 2010 CAP Information & Instructions sheet.
